I S C again wins the Spoor Trophy worth 700 dollars at the International Live Stock Exposition in Chicago. Ames team members Gray Linklater and Divsmore scored high in cattle judging while Canadian and other U S colleges also competed. Shamrock the Angus steer sold for 1010.80 dollars, capping a year of Iowa State College stock honors under Prof. Kennedy.

The Second Iowa Conference of the Iowa Fellowship of the American Society of Religious Education met in Ames December 5 to 7 at the Congregational church. Mayor Parley Sheldon welcomed delegates and Rev O L Nys and Acting President Stanton spoke on church and college roles in ethical education. The Iowa State College of Agriculture and Mechanic Arts highlighted character building and joint mind and body development, with funds already surpassing 20000 for a new Y M C A and Y W A building.
