Miss Alice M. Beach of the I. A. C. presented a paper on Some Beneficial Insects, describing habits of insects that prey on injurious pests. She was made an honorary member as 28 members attended. The evening session was omitted and most members left around 6 p.m., with Lathrop Strom and Branson noted as enduring presences since the 1870 organization.
