Judicial Ticket for D D Miracle a Circuit Judge Eleventh District from Hamiten County.
The Republican State Convention with about nine hundred delegates approved a robust ticket. Capt. Hull was renominated for another term, Capt. Powers for State Land Office, and Capt. Lucas won the Treasurer post after a tight contest. Maj. Conger secured the treasurer nomination amid praise for his integrity and public support. Major McPherson edged rivals for Attorney General after a hard ballot, while Maj. Young withdrew to back McPherson. Senator Harlan and others were also acclaimed, reflecting broad party unity.
The speaker praises Col Anderson as eloquent magnetic and cordial and vows a strong canvass. He describes the District Electors as good men and true and positions Anderson as a gallant colleague to the old leader ready to serve in the campaign.
