Prouty Controlled Republican County Convention in Story County
The Story County Republican convention at Nevada elected O M Morse as chairman and adopted resolutions defending principals while condemning undemocratic primary methods. Delegates backed Hon 8 F Prouty with a 72 to 26 delegate split, and rules were amended to align caucus hours with the primary, with ballots for committeeman and delegates in separate boxes.
