The Amarillo Mother-In-Law Club met in the Federation Club Rooms for the first fall gathering led by Mrs. T. H. Rodgers with the Lord's Prayer. They discussed funding for a student loan fund, voted to affiliate with the Texas Federation of Women's Clubs, and planned a delegation to the Seventh District Club Institute in Plainview. Delegates included Mrs. Jim Weaver, A. A. Meredith, J. L. Young, Lon Sellers and Rodgers. guest speaker Mrs. Wes Izzard spoke on the Federation of Women's Clubs. Betty Stockton played two piano numbers.
