In a letter to O B Martin chairman of Governor Moody's Drouth Relief Committee M H Gossett president of the Federal Land Bank and the Federal Intermediate Credit Bank outlines required steps for credit bank loans to local credit corporations serving farmers and ranchers. Loans carry six percent to farmers six and a half percent to ranchers secured by chattel mortgages or endorsements. Corporations must have at least 25000 capital and ideally 59000 with larger areas requiring 50000 minimum. To obtain rediscount privileges local corps must invest half their capital in approved securities and pledge them with the bank. Redistributions of discounts depend on unimpaired capital with ratios of three to eight times.

Young Woman Dies After Poison Drank at Palo Duro Hotel
