Soviet Premier calls for new summit with Asia powers

Painter Held After Attempting 36 Million Dollar Cash

Dragster Hartin Crashes At Amarillo Dragway

Glen Ward world champion dragster racer was injured at Amarillo Dragway seven miles south of the city. Ward of Santa Ana California was rushed to Northwest Texas Hospital with back and left leg injuries. Assistant Clarence Pierce said the car flipped end over end after the throttle stuck on a wet track and Ward was thrown from the vehicle. Ward had entered the Saturday races but left after clutch damage.
