Youth Buried Alive Rescued From Sand Near Amarillo
A 10 year old Amarillo boy Greg Black was buried for over an hour in a nine to ten foot sand pile at a Hereford cement plant. A worker freed him from a spout outlet as bystanders and emergency crews dug with shovels and used a clamshell crane. He escaped with scratches and bruises and was not suffocated.
