Schoolboy Shot After Accidental Pistol Discharge
Chester Sullivan a 15 year old Amarillo student was in critical condition at Northwest Texas Hospital after an accidental discharge of a .22 pistol while he was playing. He told his father E C Sullivan that one cartridge was in the pistol and the hammer had been snapped several times. He said he was removing the cartridge from the chamber when it fired.

New Fort Worth & Denver Bridge Opens Over Canadian River
Denver's new Canadian Bridge on the Fort Worth and Denver line spans 1 035 feet with nine steel spans of 115 feet each. Passenger train No 8 Amarillo bound will use the bridge starting Monday at 4 PM, replacing the old 400 foot wooden span upstream. Construction began August 15 1920 and officials say the new structure is flood and washout resistant, ending service on the old bridge.

Prohibition officers seized 150 gallons of moonshine hidden under canvas in a garage at 1005 West Sixth Street Amarillo. James Edward Creighton charged with murder and sought for bank robbery refused to name the third man involved in the Hastings National Bank raid on February 25.
