Four years ago on Mother's Day Carolyn and Ritchie Fletcher adopted Timothy Fletcher, a 16 month old Vietnamese orphan who spent nearly 12 years in an orphanage. The family, living in Gruver, recalls the moment the boy arrived in Denver and the bond formed. Tim, now five, remembers the event through home videos and loves planes, having watched the refugee flights with fascination.
