Snakes Stolen From Regents Park Zoo In London Heist
Police hunted London for thieves who stole 26 snakes from Regents Park Zoo including eight venomous species on St Patrick's Day. A Gabon viper three and a half feet long and seven puff adders were among the missing, with 18 sand boas also taken. Officials warned the viper is extremely dangerous and noted a serum exists at the zoo for emergencies if bite occurred.
