Woman Planned Fatal Church Attack With Sawed Gun

Bond Election Planned to Pave All County Roads

Collingsworth County commissioners approve a May 11 bond election for 800000 to pave both north south and east west highways across the county. Armstrong County Man Not Guilty in Assault Charge

E Pp Berry Armstrong county commissioner was acquitted in Potter county court yesterday on a charge of aggravated assault against Chas Grimes. The dispute arose from a fist fight at the Tri-State fair over opening a road through Grimes land in Armstrong county. Grimes was said to have kidney injury from a kick in the fight. The trial drew a large crowd from Potter and Armstrong counties.

Houston Girl Identifies Suspect in Wooded Assault Case

A Houston 20 year old girl identified a young Black man arrested nearby as the attacker who dragged her into the woods from an escort named Ed Boswell. Police and officers searched with Boswell for hours, and two murder charges against the suspect were filed in a separate Pedigo case. The sheriff moved the suspect to another county citing mob violence threats.

Four Die as Train Hits Stalled Car in Wilkesbarre

In Wilkesbarre Pa four residents were killed and a fifth person critically injured when a Lehigh Valley locomotive struck their stalled automobile.
