Wright Pistol Mishap Claims Life in Amarillo
S. H. Wright aged 43 died at 9:30 pm Thursday in Northwest Texas Hospital from a accidental self inflicted pistol wound. The accident occurred Wednesday afternoon in the yard of Consumers' Service Company at 403 Hayden Street when the weapon discharged as he stumbled. Wright, formerly president of Amarillo Furniture Company, is survived by his wife and three children Herman Charles and Genevieve. The body is in the Griggs funeral home.
