Mule Power Pulls Club to Fun Frustration on Wagon Train
The Rolling Plains Mule Train formed in 1963 as horse riders shifted to wagons. Wagons from Peter Schuttler and Studebaker, mules from Graham, Austria and many journeys up to 500 miles. Zebbie Land runs a catering chuckwagon while Earl Riley leads wagon master duties. The club meets weekly near Spearman to train and socialize despite rough conditions and quirks among drivers.
