Crippled Children Clinic Draws North Texas Families
One hundred twenty two crippled children and several adults attended a daytime clinic at the North West Texas Hospital in Amarillo. Doctors from the Texas Shriners Crippled Children Hospital in Dallas, aided by local physicians, examined patients and arranged treatment with financial aid from the Crippled Children's Council. Bad roads kept many from attending, and organizers hope to repeat the event with Dr. Carrell and staff returning soon to handle more cases.

Eleven Convicts Die In Prison Camp Fire
Eleven negro inmates died when the Dublin County prison camp burned early today on the Wilmington Kenansville highway south of Kenansville North Carolina. Fifty two prisoners were in the stockade with guards and citizens rescuing forty one others before the blaze was checked. Forty one were saved including eleven white men and thirty black men. The alarm was raised by Camp Superintendent John Best who reported the fire and limited the destruction.

Coldest Winter Night Records Set as March Roars In
Weather Bureau reports March 7 dropped to 15 degrees the winter low and a nine inch snow fell a week earlier. The period also saw a high of 40 degrees, with calmer conditions forecast. January's minimum reached 17 degrees while December 17 and 22 saw 17 degrees. The second snow in a week melted yesterday.
