A three alarm blaze at 98 Taylor yesterday leveled the Old Zero Lockers and Cole Storage Co. building. Amarillo Fire Department with 9 units fought the fire for over an hour starting around 11:30 AM. The fire started near a ceiling heater. the structure is a total loss. The site had housed High Plains Baptist Church remodelling for High Plains Christian Academy. owner Byron W Cox of 1611 W Interstate 40. Carpet rolls were the only contents destroyed. One unit remained to monitor rekindling.
