Local Man Held For Texarkana Hold Up
Bowie County Sheriff Henry Brooks said charges of highway robbery were filed against M. C. Farris and W. A. Jennings for the February 22 robbery of Mrs. Bud Luttrell near DeKalb Texas. Farris 27 of Dallas and Jennings 27 of Amarillo were arrested at Fort Worth. Mrs Littrell identified a photo of Farris as a suspect. The two men accosted Mrs Littrell and another woman, forced their car into a ditch, then robbed Mrs Luttrell of 240 dollars. Jennings had previous conviction for felony theft in Amarillo on May 19 1936.
