Five year old killed as group of children struck on T Anchor
A 5-year-old Amarillo boy Freddie Green died after being struck from the rear by a car on T Anchor Boulevard near Seminole Street as he walked with three other children. Donna 14 Elizabeth 7 were injured along with Viola Dees 13 who was treated and released. Driver Clarence Clayton 28 of Pleasant Valley was held in city jail.
