Seymour Dies After Wreck In Canyon
Albert J. Seymour of Canyon died after a car pickup collision near Canyon Friday morning. He operated Seymour Garage on Northeast Eighth Avenue and lived in Canyon for two years. He was 48, survived by his wife Reba, three sons Clarence Kenneth Jimmy of Canyon and six daughters Mildred Phillips Doris Smith Petty Peggy Sue Patsy Jo of Canyon, plus five brothers and a sister. Body at Boexwell Brothers.

McALLEN Tex June 26 B E Jared city finance director is charged with embezzlement and Mayor T B Waite Jr says municipal funds may be $5 000 short. The mayor signed a complaint yesterday. Jared was arrested and taken to Edinburg for preliminary hearing. He was dismissed Wednesday by City Manager Bill Schupp.
