Panhandle farmers expect 14 to 20 million bushels this season despite hail losses. Most Colorful Marine Aviator Dies in Crash
Maj. Charles A. Lutz, described as the corps oldest and most colorful aviator, perished when his giant tri motor Fokker transport crashed near File Virginia while en route to Nicaragua. Lieut. Howard C. Busbey was killed, and two others were injured including a Detroit mechanic and a Florence Alabama radio operator. The aircraft, after a short flight from Anacostia, attempted to land and struck a ditch, then somersaulted into a wreck.

Reversal of Ben Stratton Murder Sentence By Court
