The railroad bill bars anti trust actions against rail and surface carriers if rate agreements are approved by the ICC.

United Airlines Plane Crashes Killing 41 Passengers

Ari Fritz Kuhn former head of the German American Bund was recaptured in Bernkastel near Trier after four months on the run. Two Navy Uniforms Sought After Amarillo Robbery
Amarillo police sought two men in Navy uniforms questioned over a merchant seaman slugging and robbery near Quitaque. Cristie Cox, 27, of Jackson Alabama, said he picked up the pair in Jackson Mississippi, was assaulted, and lost over $100 plus his car. The vehicle later surfaced in Quitaque. One man was described as 6 feet tall with blond hair, the other 5 feet 10 inches with brunette hair, both in navy blue and white uniforms.
