A wind driven jet fuel fire aboard the USS Forrestal off North Vietnam killed 46 sailors and wounded 56 with 80 missing. Tokyo AP reports Maoist forces and paratroops have regained momentum in Wuhan central China. Paratroopers reportedly seized a Yangtze bridge and a telegraph office. more than 10 warships moved toward Wuhan to shell anti Maoists if needed.
