Amarillo Wife Dies in Park Car Shooting. Infant Born Premature

The unborn girl was delivered by cesarean at Northwest Texas Hospital and placed in incubator in very critical condition. Her husband Staff Sgt. Hilario Larry Garcia, a base member, is charged with murder with malice. He denies the shooting, claiming an accidental discharge during a struggle in a parked car. Witnesses gave conflicting versions as the two-year marriage ended in tragedy on a Georgia Street parking lot.
