Psychologist Calls for Treatment in Firebug Case

Death Rides With Careless Drivers

National Safety Council warned that 385 people could die in traffic accidents by Tuesday midnight during the Fourth of July holiday period. From Friday evening to Saturday night 75 perished in highway crashes, 15 drowned, and 12 died in other accidents. Fireworks caused no early fatalities. State tallies list numerous traffic and accident deaths across the nation.
