Survivors include Mrs. Young and two brothers Kenneth Young of California and John Young of Morristown New Jersey. A deputy who filed official photos described the scene as the worst he has seen, shaking and pale.
Palm Beach Florida January 25 Robert R Young chairman of the New York Central poetry board died by his own action with a double barreled shotgun. He was found in a chair at his 25 room mansion with the weapon between his knees. Lt. Fred Mead said Young 60 had been low in spirits and the death occurred about 10 am. The body will be moved to Newport R I for services aboard the Florida East Coast Champion. His wife Anita Ten Eyck O Keeffe left for friends' home. No inquest planned.
Robert Young, rail road financier who shot himself at Palm Beach, was born in 1897 in Canadian Texas. He grew up near the Panhandle, studied at Culver and Virginia, married Anita Wyckoff, and fathered Eleanor Jane, who died in a 1941 private plane crash near Newport. He later rose to head the First National Bank in Canadian.

Saul, 43, a former teacher and Kress schools administrator, chaired the House water and conservation committee and authored a key water aid amendment.
The region enjoyed a fine day for picnics as expected winds and cloudiness failed to materialize. Some dust was noted in the extreme South Plains with 35 to 40 mph winds. the Panhandle posted 50s, and skies were generally fair. The Weather Bureau forecast calls for more of the same with decreasing South Plains winds and little temperature change. Saturday highs included Amarillo 59, Chickasha 65, Hobart 61, Gage 57, Guyman 52, Garden City 46, Dalhart 52, Clovis 58, and Lubbock 58. Tonight's Amarillo low around 28 with another near 53 high expected.
