Bartlesville Oklahoma January 20 two of the Southwest’s most notorious outlaws Brady and Clark fled toward the Osage Hills after releasing Kansas teacher Louis Dresser unharmed. Dresser identified the pair in police photographs and described a Texas registered Chevrolet. He was given five dollars by a second woman before release.

Bank Robbery Suspects Held Near Borger

Jail terms for firing puppy in Birmingham case
In Birmingham Alabama on January 20 a white man and a Black man were sentenced to six months in jail and fined 100 dollars each for setting fire to a fox terrier puppy after soaking it with gasoline. Judge Henry J. Martin called the act the fiendish act and the worst he had seen. The defendants Charles L. Martin 24 and Will Ellis 21 denied the charges.
