Unmasked men rob Will Rogers Hotel in Claremore
Three armed intruders entered the Will Rogers Hotel at 12 10 am and stole 254 from the lobby and guests. Ferrin Wiggin of Tulsa kept 80 hidden in his shoes. Among those robbed were Joseph Levy Tulsa and Satterfield Oklahoma City. A past raid at the same hotel occurred a year earlier.

Four injured in head-on crash near Claude and Amarillo workers hurt
A collision two miles west of Claude Saturday injured four people, with two seriously hurt, raising local crash victims to 23 in two days. W. L. Boen and C. P. Three Injured in Vernon Collision Near Vernon Texas
A Vernon Texas collision left Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Hatcher of Plainview and their daughter Lois Hatcher of Dallas injured. In Amarillo two hundred fifty needy families will receive real Christmas dinners and numerous children will gain clothing and toys thanks to donations to the Central Christmas committee. Tragedy Strikes Paris Train Collision Killing Dozens
In heavy fog near Lagny France the Paris Strasbourg express rear ended a local train killing over 130 travelers including students and injuring about 280. Rescue workers, local doctors and Lagny residents aided as 134 bodies were recovered by early morning. The crash, one of France’s worst rail disasters, occurred at 8 15 P M local time after the local had halted two miles from Lagny.
