A third Latin American, Epmenito Perino, was ordered held on $2,500 bond as a material witness in the Evelyn Taylor murder. Taylor's body was found in a drainage tunnel near the Santa Fe shop yards. Perino was questioned, released, and re-arrested. two other Mexicans and two Americans remained in custody or were questioned yesterday.

In Huntington West Virginia on December 18 three men were condemned to death for the kidnap slaying of Dr. James I Seder a 79 year old retired minister and prohibition leader. John Travis and Orville Adkins were convicted yesterday and Arnett A Booth drew the same sentence last week. Dr Seder disappeared November 1 from his Huntington apartment and reappeared eleven days later exhausted and with exposure and pneumonia.
Rochester Minnesota December 18. Physicians reported Emporia Kansas editor William Allen White was “doing very well” following an operation at the Mayo Clinic.
