Man Hit By Car Killed In Amarillo Traffic Fatality
A 24 year old Abilene man, Joe Valdez, living at Biltmore Courts, was struck and killed by an eastbound car on East Amarillo Boulevard in the 4400 block. Walter Anthony Gioodt, 25, the driver, remained under investigation as Valdez died at St. Anthony's Hospital. Valdez and his family had been living at 4600 E. Amarillo Boulevard. Services are pending with Blackburn Shaw Funeral Directors.
