Denver Couple Hurt In Auto Crash West Of Claude
Mr and Mrs W S Dunn of Denver Colorado were hurt when their car left the highway one mile west of Claude. Dunn is in critical condition with deep cuts bruises and possible internal injuries while Mrs Dunn has a leg laceration but is not seriously hurt. Faulty steering was blamed. Passing motorists rushed them to Claude for care.

Curtiss Field, Aug 20 The women endurance fliers Mrs Trances Marsalis and Mrs Louise Thaden after six days in the air surpassed the prior women’s record by 24 hours and planned to stay aloft beyond a week with refueling stops and continued messages of support. They warned ground crews they might not land until Monday or Wednesday as the effort continued.
