City Man Drowned in Buffalo Lake At Cottonwood Cove
Orville Bryant Argo aged 51 of 706 B Forest drowned in Buffalo Lake yesterday afternoon. Three fishermen found the body about 4:15 p.m. a quarter mile north of Cottonwood Cove. Argo, a painter, lived in Amarillo 17 years and belonged to San Jacinto Baptist Church and Local 544 Painters Union. He is survived by Mamie his wife and two stepsons George Powell and James F. Powell, plus his father A. D. Argo and sister Mrs Lona Mae Cheek.
