Betty Jo Enloe 15 Month Old Dies After Carbolic Acid Found
Betty Jo Enloe died at Northwest Texas Hospital after drinking carbolic acid found in the yard of her Amarillo home. The 15 month old, new arrivals from Stillwater Oklahoma with parents F W Enloe and wife, ingested the poison while playing as mother watched nearby. Authorities believe a passerby may have tossed the bottle into the yard. the baby’s body was to be sent to Stillwater for burial.
