Amarillo to See 1977 Tax Relief in All Four Agencies
Tax reductions totaling 31 cents per $100 valuation will cut Amarillo property taxes in 1977 across the city hospital district school district and college district. The average homeowner with a $30 000 house two cars and $1750 in personal property would see taxes drop from 932.36 in 1976 to 853.11 in 1977 a savings of 79.25.
