Seven die in fiery truck pickup crash near Hale Center
Seven people die in a fiery collision on a dirt road southeast of Hale Center at 5:30 p.m. A butane truck and a pickup collided near Cone Grain Elevator. Milton Wesley Boone, 37, and his daughter Sherry, 5, from Hale Center, were in the butane truck. Chambers Funeral Home identified the pickup occupants.
