Plainview Man Drowns When Car Plunges Over Bluff
Plainview resident Charles L. White about 45 drowned this afternoon when the car he rode in plunged over a 35 foot bluff into a pool of water one mile north of the city. Two boys nearby summoned aid from the city light plant. Resuscitation failed. body recovered after about 20 minutes. Justice of the peace ruled accidental drowning.

Wichita Falls Woman Hurt in Car Collision
Miss Juanita Hammersley of Wichita Falls sustained a broken nose and possible internal injuries when two cars collided at Sixth Avenue and Western. She rode with her brother Parker Hammersley and sister Mrs J G Pack from Las Vegas to Wichita Falls. The other car carried L D Bull of Canyon and two children. Five Die as Train Strikes Car Near Fort Worth
A southbound Fort Worth and Denver City passenger train collided with a car about 28 miles northwest of Fort Worth near Khome. Five people from Burleson and Rhome were killed instantly or died shortly after. wreckage stretched a quarter mile as the train, traveling about 50 mph, struck the sedan at grade.
