Toledo authorities investigated the claim that nine year old Paul Greiner and two companions were kidnapped in Cleveland and brought to Toledo in a car. Greiner said townsley brothers Robert nine and Kenneth seven forced them into the vehicle while playing near home. Cleveland police located the Townsleys at home. they said they attended a fish fry with their parents and did not know Greiner.

Driver of Hold Up Gang Sentenced in Kennard Bank Robbery
Edwin Carroll admitted driver of the automobile used by three men in the January 8 robbery of the Farmers Guaranty State Bank at Kennard. He pleaded guilty March 18 and was sentenced to 10 years in the Texas penitentiary by District Judge Ben F. Dent.

Fatal shooting at Wellington home ends in death
