United States army aviators completed a flight around the world arriving in Seattle from Eugene Oregon after 175 days aloft 27084 miles in air 3514 hours 11 minutes at an average 76.36 mph Commander Lieut Lowell H Smith reported success to Major General Mason M Patrick in Washington informing future duties would be announced and a public luncheon would feature talks by the fliers and their mechanics.
Rev Joseph Yeats, accused of abducting a 14 year old Oklahoma girl at Aliawee, was arrested near Winters Texas at 9 30 this morning and was to be brought to Ballinger officials said.
Panhandle and J. D. Wrather announce a closed refinery deal. Town citizens subscribed 35000 in stock. Work will begin within ten days. Estimated refinery cost is about 150000 dollars.
An Oklahoma farmer, J. A. Melton, discovered his wife and five children dead at his home near Mangum. Authorities placed blame on Mrs. Melton, saying a razor in her hand matched prints, and a coroner’s inquest was deemed unnecessary. A quintuple funeral was planned in Maud, Oklahoma.

Roy R. Hubbard assistant attorney general of Kansas was dangerously injured in a motor car collision in Kansas City along with four others including Mrs Charles B Griffith wife of the States Attorney General.
The Associated Press reports Miriam A. Ferguson won a key ruling in her Texas governor race dispute. Judge C Calhoun refused the injunction to remove her name from the ballot, finding she is qualified and that common law disabilites on women in office are obsolete. The decision sets the stage for appeal to the court of civil appeals.
