Boutell Services Held This Morning
Funeral services for Jack C. Boutell 58 were held at 10 o'clock Monday from Griggs Funeral Chapel with Rev. R Thomson of Central Presbyterian Church presiding. Burial followed at Llano Cemetery. Boutell a cafe proprietor and Amarillo resident since 1920 died at the family home 848 Bonham Street Saturday morning. Survivors include widow Anna Boutell and daughter Anna Bell.

Officers Seize Spurious Coins in Amarillo Raid
Police arrested three alleged counterfeiters in Amarillo after a counterfeit dollar attempt at Melr Theater triggered a hotel raid. A quantity of spurious dollars half dollars quarters and dimes and dies for each denomination was seized as federal agents were notified and began an investigation. Police warned the public against passing counterfeit money and against short change artists. Three alleged short change artists were arrested Sunday.
