Fire and a light explosion damaged a semi permanent shelter at the Can non Gasoline Company plant, which makes propane and butane. No equipment was harmed, and officials said operations would resume in a few days. Water from a vat helped firefighters curb the blaze in about an hour. The plant sits near Thompson Park and Dumas highway. Frank J. Storm Jr noted his father is principal stockholder and that others have sold interests.
