Local Society Plans Dahlias and Zinnias Displays This Saturday
A special display is planned Saturday morning with prizes of five dollars and one dollar. Three new classifications include best display of dahlias three vases or more first prize five dollars second prize one dollar. Also best display of cut blooms three varieties or more first five dollars second one. Prizes donated by Pierce Street Greenhouse Cunningham Flower Shop and Amarillo Greenhouse. Also notes social visits and music events in Amarillo with recitals and a Panhandle Music Teachers meeting at the Amarillo hotel to discuss contests for the Music Festival in April.
