Pilot Sergeant Victor Nilsson who took part in the Italia relief expedition died in a Copenhagen hospital from injuries after his plane crashed at Lindvaegen air field last night. A pupil named Anderson who Nilsson was teaching was also killed.
Milton Sills longtime stage leading man and film star dies at his suburban Los Angeles home after collapsing during tennis with his wife Doris Kenyon. He was 48, diagnosed heart disease. He leaves daughter Dorothy and son Kenoba. His death follows Lon Chaney’s passing a month earlier.
Imogene King, daughter of Mr and Mrs George King of 700 Pierce, was struck by a playground swing during recess on Tuesday at Johnson Street school. She suffered a deep gash on her forehead requiring several stitches, and doctors say she will recover rapidly.

Doyle Harrington a 26 year old man was killed when an automobile struck him as he slept beside a highway near Commerce. The driver fled the scene. Harrington had been walking from McKinney toward Shelby Mississippi to visit his parents.
A pole sitting attempt ended in the death of 15 year old Stephen Waleh Jr in Chicago. He touched live power lines at the top of the pole during the stunt.
Montreal health officials reported cat meat was being sold as rabbit in restaurants. Dr Boucher of the city health department said several convictions had been obtained.
Certification of 87 counties in Kansas and Texas for drought relief emergency freight rates was halted pending a review of livestock feed supplies. Police announced the arrest of A W Dean after a raid at his home 1104 Johnson Street. Amarillo police recovered much of the stolen silverware identified by the owner, including an electric waffle iron and several dishes. Dean was taken to Canadian to face charges. his son Tobie Dean is held for car theft. Three youths Ernest Cox Hurley Bates and Paul Bosh are held on suspicion of possessing stolen goods. A burglary at the B rent Britain home on Went Fourteenth Avenue yielded clothing linens and pins.
Chicago dispatch reports Patrolman William E B McCann aged 32 died early today after Sean Da vies, a Black man, shot him while responding to a burglar alarm. Da vies said he mistook the officer for a prowler as they hunted two intruders at a flat.
Thomas Lindsey, 65, vice president of the Kelly-Springfield Tire Company, died of a heart attack in Yonkers New York last night. He was a longtime executive in the tire firm.
Noah Beery reveals his wife Marguerite has been missing from the Beery ranch near North Hollywood for a week. He plans to ask police for help locating her after she left the family home with her automobile. He cites her illness and hopes she may return as before, while son Noah Jr. urged seeking police aid. The Beerys wed in 1910 and reconciled after a prior divorce action.
