Pierian Club notes 1945 yearbook meeting and plans
The Pierian Club met yesterday at Mrs. E. C. Seaman’s home to present the 1945 yearbook and discuss Bible as literature. Mrs. L. A. Wells presided. refreshments were served and a round table followed. Next meeting set for Sept 28 at 3 PM at Mrs. J. W. Puckett’s home. Necklaces of nutmegs noted as cold protectors. Llano Estacado Chapter DAR to hold fall meeting Monday at 2:30 PM at Mrs. Avery Turner’s home in observance of constitutional week with program led by Mrs. J. E. Griggs.
