Mayor Plans By-Pass Survey Discussion in Austin
Mayor Hagg will meet state highway engineer DeWitt Greer in Austin on Sept 21 to discuss a survey for the proposed Highway 66 by pass. The route would run along North West Eighth from North Fillmore to near the Veterans Hospital, with a Rock Island railroad grade separation west of the Helium Plant. Right of way to be shared by Amarillo city and Potter County.
