Berlin September 12 Chancellor Von Papen faced uncertainty as Reichstag opposition passed a non confidence motion before his dissolution decree. The session marked a dramatic clash with 513 votes to 32 and no abstentions. Supreme court will rule on constitutionality affecting his government.
A tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico shifted toward the Louisiana coast, likely missing the Texas Gulf Coast. At 10 A.M. the storm center was near 26N 92W, moving northeast with increasing intensity. warnings issued for vessels in its path. In Houston, weather officials reported no strike on the Texas area as of Sept. 12, with the storm about 200 miles south of Lake Charles and 160 miles offshore.
