Vets Gather for 45th South Reunion and Convention

George W. Waddell 89 of Fort Worth died at 9:30 AM from injuries after falling from an elevator at his hotel during the 45th annual Robert E. Lee U C V Chapter reunion. Amarilloans Hurt In Wreck Kills Two In Texas Crash

Mrs. R. H. Hamilton wife of an Amarillo attorney died in a Dallas hospital from injuries in a crash on the North West Highway between Fort Worth and Dallas. Her death raised the toll to two with C. A. Ensinger of Gainesville dying earlier in Fort Worth. Hamilton and his 18 year old daughter Mary Gail were in a hospital with injuries. In Roanoke highway 10 crash one person was killed two seriously hurt and two with minor injuries. C A Ensinger of Gainesville died en route to Fort Worth with a crushed skull.
