Grotto of the Redemption Draws National Tourists at West Bend
West Bend Iowa locals and visitors tour the unfinished Grotto of the Redemption built by Rev. P M Dobberstein of Sts Peter and Paul, a six year project costing about 186000 dollars. The grotto depicts Eden to the Resurrection with stone art, a lake park, lunch room, and fourteen Stations of the Cross while the priest funds much of it himself.

Rescue continuing for survivors of S S Mayor
