Drunk Refuses Exit Elevator Rides Dallas Hospital Shaft
A 37 year old man, drunk from a city jail visit, rode an elevator at Methodist Hospital for 15 minutes. He pressed a pistol to an orderly’s back, demanded to go up and down between floors, and was later taken to city hall and booked. The drunk, identified later as a carpet company manager, slept in a fifth floor cell.
