Fail to Break Into Bank Safe in Darrouzett

Yeggs failed to open the First National Bank safe in Darrouzett Texas last night. Safes at the Santa Fe station and Russell Mercantile store were opened, with only a small theft at the store and blank money orders taken from the station vault. Entry to all sites was gained by breaking windows and the bank safe dials were knocked off. All three break-ins were discovered early today.

Bank Robbers Loot Maude State Bank in Quiet Heist

Maude Oklahoma October 28 two men robbed the Maude State Bank of an undetermined amount. They herded officials and customers into the vault and fled south in a black sedan. No shots were fired and the smaller robber talked constantly while the larger claimed to be Charles Pretty Boy Floyd, but was not believed.

No Motive In Banker Death

Blanton alibi strengthens in Amarillo inquiry

In Amarillo a court of inquiry reinforced H C Blanton's alibi for October 15 the night two M System groceries were robbed and a clerk wounded.
