Market data from Merrill Lynch shows Dow Jones at 139.08 up .39 at 1 P M. Kansas City livestock yields include hogs 4,500 salable with prices around 14.15 to 14.35 for 180 lb plus, and cattle 9,000 salable with steers and cows in the 6 to 18 dollar range. Chicago hogs and cattle trades run slower with mixed outcomes, large lots of 190 lb plus hogs down 10 to 20 cents, yearlings and prime cattle pressured, lambs steady to firm, cows steady to higher in places.
