Miracles of Service Happen Every Day at Travelers Aid
Travelers Aid at Amarillo Army Air Field handles a wide range of requests from locating relatives to housing and travel aid. The volunteers help find lodging for couples with children, arrange medical care for stranded service members, and assist a defense plant worker and his family bound for California by coordinating employer funding. They also guide wives seeking husbands and direct inquiries about USO centers and local amenities.
